Retention and Graduation Dashboard
Ten years of official statistics on retention rates (first-to-second year and first-to-third year) and graduation rates (three-, four-, five-, and six-year) for the first-time, full-time cohort, as reported to IPEDS. Retention can be viewed by students’ entry school and by their retention at other GW schools. In addition, users can create their own tables using their preferred combination of variables.
Ten years of course grades by section. Grades can be viewed as the number or percentage of students earning each letter grade or by the mean and median grades for the course. Customizable graphs allow users to compare the mean grades for a course taught by the same faculty across different semesters or to compare the mean grades for courses taught by different faculty in the same semester.
Ten years of official statistics on full-time faculty. It includes faculty administrators (deans and associate deans) and medical faculty. Faculty can be summed by school, department, faculty type, rank, tenure status, gender, and race, and users can view the growth or decline of any group over time. In addition, users can create their own tables to show faculty by their preferred combination of variables.
Faculty Teaching Load Dashboard
Ten years of course registration data and five years of faculty teaching load dashboard by semester. Users can view total enrollment and median class size by school, department, faculty rank, faculty tenure status. Teaching load for individual instructors can be summarized by academic year, and users can view an instructors’ total enrollment by student level and by credits generated in courses.
