Margaret (Peggye) Cohen

Peggye Cohen is Assistant Vice President for Institutional Research Emerita. She came to GW in 1961 as a transfer student and stayed to earn her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Mathematical Statistics. In 1966, she was hired as the Assistant for Institutional Research to the Vice President for Academic Affairs. That was the beginning of institutional research at GW. Over the next 40+ years, Peggye led the Office of Institutional Research until her retirement in 2008. Today she works part-time in the office helping out with special projects.
